October 2008 - SynCardia Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Scientific and Medical Officer Marvin Slepian, M.D., presents at the Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology (CIMIT).

CIMIT is a non-profit consortium of 12 Boston teaching hospitals and engineering schools including Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Boston University. CIMIT’s mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among world-class experts in medicine, science and engineering, in concert with industry and government, to rapidly improve patient care.
