Position Description
Provides clinical and technical support for SynCardia products in the specific region of U.S. Conducts certification training classes and provides clinical assistance for transplant centers that are interested in, are currently undergoing or have completed SynCardia Certification Training. Communicates directly with management regarding observations in the field and the industry relative to SynCardia.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties & responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Works closely with the Clinical Sales Team to provide timely and efficient customer support.
- Implements effective support programs that are recognized by customers for the significant value they add to patient outcomes and profitable operations.
- Helps existing customers expand their use of the SynCardia temporary Total Artificial Heart while they refer new hospitals into the SynCardia certification program.
- Advises management of any product performance issues, and documents and reports immediately to Regulatory Affairs & Quality any product failures or customer complaints.
- Evaluates and supports clinical and educational needs of customers, including quality education programs.
- Assist in facilitating self learning interactions among customers to support and improve good patient outcomes and profitable operations.
- Coordinates and assists with the four phase modular initial training system to ensure that each customer implant center is certified and will consistently produce good patient outcomes in specified geographical region.
- Creates, maintains, and updates SynCardia educational materials.
- Participates in strategic medical meetings to interact with current customers and infect appropriate new customers with the idea virus, as well as maintain the most current knowledge of industry research and discoveries.
Position Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred.
- Willing to travel
- Transplant center familiarity
- Medical device experience
- Instructional experience
Additional Qualifications
- Clinical experience in OR and/or CCL a plus.
- Ability to work effectively from almost anywhere
