Position Description
Develops and expands the market for the SynCardia temporary Total Artificial Heart and related SynCardia products by identifying target transplant centers, directing the sales process and launching new SynCardia Certified Centers within specified region of the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties & responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving sales objectives related to launching new SynCardia Certified Centers.
- Building SynCardia Certified Centers’ revenues and profitability by implementing an effective hub and spoke approach to growing business through strategic assessment and planning.
- Managing customer contract negotiations, customer complaints, sales approach and profitability goals.
- Offering current knowledge of SynCardia products and the mechanical circulatory support industry and effectively communicating this information to customers.
Position Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in business, arts or science
- 5+ years sales experience, preferably in medical devices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passionate about helping others
- Highly organized
- Willing to travel
Additional Qualifications
- MBA
- Prior sales experience with mechanical circulatory support devices a plus.
