Episode 1904: “Saving Lives with the Total Artificial Heart”

March 11, 2011 - In this program, we’ll discuss how a normal heart works, how heart failure can develop, and when the Total Artificial Heart is needed. We’ll take you behind the scenes of how the Total Artificial Heart works, and hear success stories from the patients who have received the Total Artificial Heart.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind has been the most carried health and wellness series on public television for the last five years. The program has aired over 200 episodes on more than 300 stations nationwide since its debut in 2004. The series is produced by four-time Emmy Award winner David Counts.
